I worked like a dog to buy my D80 earlier this year, and I plug Nikon. Oh, well! I'd love to test some lenses. Nikon, pick me! :-)

Re: MWW and Nikon get it

I was contacted by MWW regarding a "promotion" for their as-yet-unspecified client. Not sure if this is the same thing. The guy wanted my mailing address. After looking around at a few sites and seeing the name (Tom Biro) appear on most of them, I am assuming this is what they were contacting me about.

Do you folks know anything about how the selection process worked or how many people are involved? I have been unable to find any details...

Re: MWW and Nikon get it

I'm not on the list, for very good reason. I used to be a professional photographer, but am a newbie blogger who can't figure out how to post photos properly. After seeing your demonstration in Las Vegas, Dave, I have launched blogs using Wordpress. The photo/graphic interface is very clunky. I've downloaded a couple of plugins, but neither seems to give me the freedom of sizing and quality that I would like.
Your blogs have beautiful pictures and you use Wordpress. What's your secret?

Re: MWW and Nikon get it

heh. i'm on the list too. i might try to compile a complete list later tonight. i hear there's a flickr group too...

-kpaul

Re: MWW and Nikon get it

I got me one too. I thought it was because of Black Star Rising, but maybe it was the Orchard -- or just the fact that Tim Biro is a nice guy.

In any case, I guess we'll both be snapping away. Hope I remember to take the lens cap off.
